Sasha Guzman
Former Board Member
Sasha Guzman holds a position as a youth prevention specialist at the San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness (SACADA) since 2020. She works with at-risk youth from the ages of 12-19 years old, parents, and younger children.
She has been a member of The Institute for Poetic Medicine’s Poetry Therapy and Exile Poetry Groups since 2013 and has numerous publications on poetry and dreams over the years in the poetry magazine, Voices de la Luna.
Sasha lives with her pareja (pad-e-ha) (Spanish for partner), Perry. She has no kids, except their 3 fur babies, a cat, a Husky, and an English Bull Terrier. She is a member of the Tap Pilam Coahuiltecan Nation and jingle dances at local pow wows. She is a marriage, couple, and family therapist in training at Texas A&M-San Antonio.
